PART TIME Banquets Server
The primary responsibility of the Server - Banquets is to serve food and beverage as specified on the banquet event order (BEO) in a timely and friendly manner.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serves food prepared to the specifications of the BEO.
- Serves beverages ordered and as requested by guests.
- Assists in the transportation of banquet meals from banquet kitchen or Team Dining to meeting room.
- Understands the service requirements of the banquet function and executes accordingly.
- Clears banquet tables as directed.
- Insure that the food & beverage is prepared as specified.
- Serve requested food & beverage to guests in accordance with banquets Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Ensures the guest’s needs are met, by checking back with the table frequently.
- Ensures all assigned areas are kept clean.
Minimum Employment Requirements:
- 18 years of age, proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English; both in oral and written form.
- Interpersonal skills with focused attention on guest needs to deal effectively with all business contacts.
Specific Position Requirements:
- 1 year experience as a food server preferred.
- Previous banquet experience in upscale and/or high volume food and beverage establishment strongly preferred.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English.
- Knowledge of wines is a plus.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
