Summary

Responsible for ordering raw materials associated with printing of foam cups and containers along with inputting data into the WinCup Database.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Review print production schedule daily and order ink, print pates and blankets for upcoming print jobs.
• Order cleaning materials for the print operation that includes plate cleaner, rags, hand cleaner, rubber gloves, etc.
• Set-up and provide print jobs to the print leads.
• Print production identification labels prior to a print and production job beginning along with ensuring that the label printing equipment is maintained in working order
• Establish and maintain a list of vendor customer service representatives and/or sales departments that processing orders for production and print materials.
• Coordinate print jobs with the WinCup Corporate Purchasing Manager and Graphic Design Department to ensure that items ordered and designs are compatible with Tolleson Plant’s print equipment.
• Maintain records of print equipment repair parts and supplies on an excel spreadsheets.
• Maintain print equipment preventive maintenance schedule and maintenance records.
• Maintain the availability of print supplies and check with management for purchase approval.
• Maintain housekeeping of the ink room and office along with ensuring that ink is organized and rotated
• Follow all GMP and sanitation guidelines along with maintaining a high level of personal hygiene.
• Attend monthly safety training sessions and perform other duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Qualifications

Education – High School Diploma or GED

Experience – Two years in a manufacturing environment. Two years as a production equipment operator. Previous machine operator experience in paper cup industry preferred. Experience in cross training team mates preferred.

Skills – Basic computer skills. Basic Math skills. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to function independently. Must be ability to read, write and speak English. Good oral and written communication skills.

Physical Demands (Manufacturing Plant)

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

• Work an 8 or 12 hour shift while sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending, reaching, grasping, use hands to finger, grasp with hands and arms, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and lifting throughout the entire shift.
• Requires the manual movement of cases of finished goods that weight up to 50 pounds.
  
  

Working Conditions (Manufacturing Plant)

• Exposed to extreme heat. In-doors in a manufacturing environment that is not air conditioned.
• Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
• Wear PPE while working, which includes hairnet, hearing protection and safety glasses with side guards.
• Work an 8 or 12 hour day shift
• Able to work weekdays, weekends and overtime.
