Responsibilities:
- Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming of the animals
- Assist in restraining animals for veterinary team
- Keep records of animal feedings, treatments, and other updates
- Engage in play activities and exercise with the animals
- Maintain a clean and healthy environment
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care or other related fields preferred
- Passion to help and treat animals
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
The hours for this position are: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-6:00pm & every other weekend (Roughly 7am-9am & 3pm-5pm both Saturday & Sunday). This job will also be a 'float' position, utilizing your skills in other areas of the hospital, training in both reception & veterinary assistant positions, however the main responsibility will be in the kennel.
