DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This district leadership role includes responsibility for all aspects of the Winchester Public Schools’ technology. The ideal candidate will be able to be a district leader, a network manager, and also a technician.

- Management, administration, and security of core systems and networks
- Management of staff and student user accounts, rights, and credentials (GSuite for Education, Clever)
- Management of contracted services and products (i.e. Fortinet, Crowdstrike, Knowbe4, VMWare, Windows 11, Mac OS, Chrome OS, Android, Moslye)
- Management and maintenance of phones, copiers, printers, cameras
- Management, maintenance of all district devices
- Provide records for FOI requests
- Prepare a departmental budget
- Provide technical assistance at once monthly Board of Education meetings and budget hearings
- Be a key member of the District Leadership Team
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Information Technology OR equivalent experience in Network Administration
- Experience as either a network administrator or similar role, in an educational setting
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and move around flexibly for installing hardware
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be a strong communicator
