Summary

Assist the elementary school principal in the areas of instructional leadership and supervision, curriculum development, staff development, after-school programming, and discipline referrals.

Qualifications

  • Virginia teaching license with endorsement in Administration and Supervision Pre-K - 12 or eligibility for such
  • 3 year minimum of successful teaching experience, preferably at the elementary school level
  • Demonstrated knowledge of instructional practices and curriculum development
  • Ability to build positive school culture through cultivation of positive relationships
  • Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, parents, and administrators

Salary:

Range based on the 2026-2027 Assistant Principal Salary Scale is $87,550 - $134,825.
