Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Supervisor - Second Shift to oversee daily operations in our cable and connector manufacturing facility. This role ensures that production goals are met efficiently, safely, and in compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards. The ideal candidate will lead a team of assemblers and technicians, coordinate production schedules, and drive continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate or Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Process Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering or Operations
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards and compliance requirements
- Proven leadership and team-building skills
- Proficient in reading and interpreting manufacturing drawings , wiring schematics and work instructions
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Visual a plus)
- Strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills
- Experience with lean manufacturing, Kaizen or Six Sigma Methodologies
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus

- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards, including proper documentation, traceability, and quality assurance practices
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching, feedback, and training to build a high-performance team
- Implement and maintain 5S and lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Materials departments to resolve production issues
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, ensuring all team members follow safety protocols and wear proper PPE
- Review and analyze production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement
- Conduct daily shift meetings and maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and labor hours
- Participate in internal and external audits related to quality management systems (QMS).
