Winchester Christian Academy is seeking a passionate, Christ-centered elementary teacher (a 1st grade and a 3rd grade) who is committed to academic excellence and spiritual discipleship. Essential Responsibilities

• Teach grade-level curriculum while maintaining high academic standards.
• Integrate biblical truth and a Christian worldview into daily instruction.
• Create a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Assess student progress and communicate regularly with families.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grades, and student records.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with school curriculum and learning objectives.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and educational technology.
• Establish clear classroom expectations while implementing positive classroom management practices.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, and extracurricular activities as requested.
• Model Christian character through words, actions, and relationships.
• Pray with and for students while encouraging spiritual growth and biblical character.

Qualifications

• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with biblical principles.
• Agreement with Winchester Christian Academy's Biblical Principles and mission.
• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Passion for Christian education and investing in the lives of children.
