Salary: $15.00
Schedule: Wednesday or Thursday 1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m, and Sunday 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
During peak season, individuals must be available to work at least 15 hours per week. Note: Facility hours change seasonally.

Focus: This role assists with all aspects of range operations, ensuring best-in-class experiences for customers, partners, and internal teams while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Part-time Temporary Range Officer Essential Job Functions:

• Act as Range Safety Officer, ensuring that all shooters adhere to range safety rules and maintain basic gun safety.
• Provide training guidance to new and novice shooters.
• Assist with target setting on trap machines, adjustments, and filling of trap houses.
• Clean trash and spent shells from the shooting stations.
• Assist with light cleaning of the clubhouse and restrooms.
• Flexibility to work at trap, skeet, 5-stand, and wabbit stations.
• Operate point-of-sale system.
• Ability to work at the handgun facility, as needed.

Part-time Temporary Range Officer Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of firearms and ammunition required.
• Prior Clay Target and Handgun Shooting experience preferred.
• Ability to teach firearm safety, handling, and shooting techniques.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods, climb ladders, work at heights, in weather elements and extreme temperatures, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, and willingness to be collaborative and support team efforts.
• Must have flexibility to work alternative days, events, hours, and weekends.

Location-Specific Requirements:

• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
