Purpose of Position
The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the retail store located either our downtown Troy, Piqua, or Springfield, Ohio, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both customers and employees. Working closely with the Lead Barista, the Retail Store Manager maintains high standards of service, product quality, high cleanliness standards, and store performance. This role also serves as a key liaison with the Regional Manager, providing critical insights for problem-solving and decision-making to drive business success.
Supervisory Responsibilities
● Recruits, hires, and trains Lead Baristas and retail staff.
● Organizes and oversees staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
● Conducts timely and constructive performance evaluations.
● Manages employee discipline and terminations in accordance with corporate policy.
● Oversees inventory management for both the store and backroom.
● Responsible for cash management, including bank deposits and reconciliation.
Retail Responsibilities and Duties
● Supervises drink preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.
● Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by overseeing all aspects of the store experience.
● Handles and resolves customer complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
● Manages inventory, purchasing, and restocking of shelves
● Conducts daily store and equipment inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
● Tracks sales and maintains accurate cash receipts and financial records.
● Ensures that all coffee, chocolate, and tea products meet and exceed quality standards.

● Prolonged standing for up to 8 hours with minimal breaks.
● Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Store Manager located in Piqua, OH. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing staff, and maintaining inventory levels. Responsibilities also include providing excellent customer service, implementing store policies, and preventing retail losses. The Store Manager will also conduct regular staff meetings, train employees, and monitor financial performance to ensure the store meets its goals.
