Job Overview:
Win Kids is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and responsible Summer Camp Coaches to lead and inspire children ages 4-12 in a fun, active, and educational camp setting. As a Summer Camp Coach, you will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and memorable camp experience through sports, games, crafts, and themed activities. Key Responsibilities:
Lead structured sports activities, games, and skill-building exercises in gymnastics, ninja warrior, and other camp-themed programs.- Supervise campers during free play, snack time, and lunch breaks to ensure safety and positive interactions.
- Implement daily schedules and facilitate themed activities that align with camp objectives and weekly themes.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, confidence, and fun.
- Provide clear, age-appropriate instructions and demonstrate activities to campers.
- Maintain high standards of safety, discipline, and cleanliness throughout the camp environment.
- Monitor camper behavior and provide positive reinforcement, addressing any issues in accordance with Win Kids policies.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and campers to ensure a successful camp experience.
- Assist with camp setup, cleanup, and transitions throughout the day.
- Attend staff training sessions to stay informed about camp policies, procedures, and emergency protocols.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage groups of children effectively and maintain a safe, fun environment.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain prior to start date).
- Must be able to work the entire camp schedule from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to actively participate in sports and physical activities, including running, jumping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.- Must be able to stand for extended periods and engage with campers in an active setting.
