Duties
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers, agribusinesses, and industry stakeholders by providing expert technical guidance on agronomic products and solutions.
- Conduct engaging product demos that showcase the benefits of innovative agricultural technologies, ensuring clients understand their value and application.
- Identify customer needs through detailed analysis skills, offering customized recommendations that enhance crop performance and sustainability.
- Collaborate with internal teams on pre-sales activities, including technical presentations, proposal development, and solution design tailored to client requirements.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously by coordinating product rollouts, training sessions, and follow-up support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies such as AWS (Amazon Web Services), Azure cloud platforms, VMware virtualization, Linux-based systems, Python scripting, Bash (Unix shell), and networking protocols to provide informed advice.
- Support sales efforts by participating in strategic planning, lead generation activities, and technical negotiations that close deals effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical sales within agriculture or related sectors; familiarity with agronomy is highly desirable.
- Strong analysis skills to assess client needs and recommend appropriate solutions confidently.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts along with experience working with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure to support data-driven decision-making.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and operating systems including Linux; scripting skills in Python and Bash are a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills for delivering compelling product demos and technical presentations.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently through effective project management practices.
