Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Function, ensuring a smooth execution of HR processes and providing exceptional service to employees and managers. Role Responsibilities
General HR Support:
Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures, benefits and processes.
Onboarding/Offboarding Support
Support recruiting with background checks and managing pre-employment requirements
Coordinate onboarding activities, including new hire paperwork, technology set up and orientation logistics
HRIS Platform/SharePoint Management
Manage ADP from front to end with ensuring accurate data such as but not limited to employee status changes on the HR level including promotions, resignations, terminations and other like processes.
Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity across HR systems, including organizational charts
Assist in HR reporting, audits and compliance documentation Employee Communication and Engagement:
Support communications regarding company policies and update any important information to employees through various channels.
Maintain our employee facing HR SharePoint page
Support employee engagement initiatives, including events, recognition programs, and surveys
Maintain the HR engagement calendar to ensure timely planning and execution
Compliance And Recordkeeping
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
Maintain confidentiality of employee information
Help prepare and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook updates.
Keeping up to date with labor law posting requirements at all offices.
Ensuring proper I-9 documentation and management
Payroll And Benefit Support
Support payroll processing through data entry and verification of changes (new hires, terminations, compensation changes).
Support HR Generalist with benefit enrollments, changes and general questions
Assist in tracking and maintaining employee communication and follow up as it relates to tracking leaves, and other tasks as needed.
HR Team Support
Manage our HR calendar of key events throughout the HR cycle
Keep the team organized by tracking key project timelines and deliverables
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of human resources experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
Strong analytical skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience With ADP HRIS Preferred
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Required Education / Certifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources preferred
Certifications For Human Resources Preferred But Not Required
Pay/Location:

Hybrid Structure
Minimal to no travel required
The role is nonexempt and eligible for paid overtime. The annualized salary/hourly rate range for this position in Connecticut is between $55,000 and $70,000. Please note that specific compensation decisions are based upon a variety of job-related factors as permitted by law, including geographic location, credentials, skills, education, training, and experience.
Base salary is just one component of Wilton Re’s total compensation package for employees. Additional compensation includes annual performance-based bonus, 401K with employer contribution, and profit-sharing program. Employee may also be eligible for long-term incentives (equity). All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
