This position is responsible for the initial set-up of new, as well as existing cases prior to employer enrollment periods, and contracting/appointing agents. Responsibility includes maintenance of agent and employer accounts as needed, as well as providing service to both.
Major Responsibilities:
- Process preliminary case approvals for new cases and determine re-enrollment eligibility.
- Handle case setup, exercising ability and knowledge to distinguish differences for each distribution channel, underwriting offer, brochures, and billing specific to case being processed.
- Accurately set up agent appointments, including execution of contracts as well as terminations when needed, in accordance to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Process commission adjustments, and voucher requests associated with agent accounts for debit balances, levy’s, assignments, and chargebacks.
- Responsible for mailout of notifications to agents and/or corporations, regarding agent/group accounts, including commission statements, and checks.
- Handle invoices related to vendor fees, and appointment renewals/billings.
- Collaborate with internal departments as needed to ensure enrollment capability exists, with appropriate enrollment resources available.
- Provide customer service to internal and external individuals via phone, email, or mail.
- Compile information from various areas as requested for reporting purposes, for case setup as well as agent report.
Required Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills are required, including Microsoft Office experience.
- Candidate must be able to communicate efficiently with all individuals whom they may interact with both verbally and in written form.
- Associate’s degree or minimum of two years insurance or customer service experience in a related industry.
Location of Position: Waco, Texas
Base salary/hourly rate range for this position in Texas is between $32,000 and $36,000. Please note that specific compensation decisions are based upon a variety of job-related factors as permitted by law, including geographic location, credentials, skills, education, training and experience.
