What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional for Community Steps position at Wilton High School?
Paraprofessional Posting for Community Steps ( 18-21 transition program)
Provide students with complex learning profiles 1:1 and small group support for independent living instruction, community participation and vocational support. Within the independent living instruction and community participation you will provide instructional support for students as outlined by their IEP goals and objectives. This instruction will be delivered within the Wilton community and overseen by a special education teacher. During vocational instruction you will assist students in learning the skills needed to perform their work tasks in a vocational setting. Throughout the day you will provide incidental teaching and social skills support as students access the Wilton Community with increased independence.
