Job Summary
Keeps the district's buildings in such a state of operating excellence that they present no problems or interruptions to the educational program. •Cleans and Preserves designated spaces, including classrooms, restrooms, ect •Sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes concrete, linoleum and wood floors •Vacuums rugs and carpets. •Cleans walls, windows, ceilings and exterior portions of buildings, as directed. •Preforms general and special cleaning tasks, as required. •Operates and checks lighting, heating and ventilation equipment •Sets up classrooms and multipurpose room for special events as needed. •Assists visiting public utilizing the facilities with directions within building and in obtaining and setting up needed equipment •Maintains building and grounds security.
Requirements / Qualifications
High school diploma or GED. Ability to pass a 50-pound lift and 100-pound push/pull tests. Negative TB test, within the last four years and Fingerprint clearance.
