Are you passionate about quality assurance and hands-on testing? Our customer is looking for a Software QA Technician to help ensure the reliability of innovative software and hardware solutions. This is a contract position requiring onsite work.
What You’ll Do
- Test application software and embedded systems, including hardware-level software/firmware.
- Execute test plans, cases, procedures, and scripts for functional, GUI, integration, regression, and system-level testing.
- Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Perform regression testing, manage defect tracking, and maintain test execution databases.
- Support software release processes and uphold quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- Hands-on experience with 3D printers is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of modern software testing methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Jira, SharePoint/Teams, Excel, and SQL databases.
- Familiarity with automation and scripting languages is a bonus
