Wilson Trailer has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician Position. This is an excellent career opportunity with a leader in the truck trailer industry. We have an opening on our night shift working 3:30pm to 3:00 am, Monday through Thursday. We offer an attractive starting wage depending on experience along with scheduled increases and a full benefit package. We offer a night shift differential of $1.75 an hour.
Prefer 2-4 years of previous industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
A Mechanical Aptitude- Good Attendance- Willing to Learn- Enjoy working with others in a busy work place.

Position Summary
This position has overall responsibility for maintenance of plant equipment. Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance work.
Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Perform a safety inspection of hoist chains, forklifts, and all tools used to ensure safety.
- Ability to read and understand prints of machines and other items to be able to identify and fix issues that arise.
- Have an understanding of hydraulics and hydraulic schematics.
- Basic electrical knowledge.
- Have a valid driver's license.
- Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance.
- Will need to workday shift or a split shift for a few months until training is complete.
- Will be required to take a written test on knowledge.
- Must be self-motivated, can work independently or in a team.
- Can fabricate parts if needed by using a mill, lathe and/or welder.
Skills and Abilities
Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience: Must be at least eighteen years of age.
Computer Skills: Average; ability to navigate computer systems for various tasks.
Communication: Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate clearly and concisely using the English Language.
