Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and carpet cleaning to maintain high standards of cleanliness and appearance
- Handle janitorial tasks efficiently across various areas including restrooms, offices, hallways, and common spaces
- Use commercial cleaning equipment safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols
- Support facilities maintenance by ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is in good working order
Qualifications
- Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred; experience with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, buffing, and general sanitation practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may include standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods
