A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $80,000 - $105,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training. Please note that the range details reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program.

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Channel Marketing (NAM), the Manager, Trade Marketing (NAM), serves a very important role at Wilson Sports Goods within the Racquet Sports business, leading our strategic trade marketing efforts focused on Tennis, Pickleball, and Padel. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative trade marketing strategies that drive brand presence and retail growth across key channels. You’ll work closely with the sales team, retailers, and internal stakeholders to create impactful campaigns, promotions, and retail initiatives that effectively position our products in the market.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to inform strategic decisions and identify opportunities for growth across key retail channels.
- Be the marketing point of contact for select customers, developing retailer relationships on a day-to-day basis. Unlock opportunities for key accounts.
- Work closely with Sales and Creative & Design teams to build strategic plans for how Wilson shows up as a brand both in our retail partners’ stores (physical & digital) and in the community.
- Lead the creation and distribution of compelling point-of-sale materials, product displays, and trade marketing assets that align with brand guidelines and drive retail impact.
- Develop and agree on strategic account marketing activity plans together with the sales team, including in store and online execution and co-op marketing campaigns.
- Manage and optimize trade marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to deliver maximum return on investment (ROI).
- Monitor and report on the performance of trade marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and future strategy.
- Collaborate with sales leaders, commercial operations, and regional marketing on strategic initiatives that drive partner loyalty and growth of sales (sell-in and sell-thru).
- Work with the business units to provide innovative and scalable training solutions for wholesale in-store staff.
- Plan and support partner events including partner conferences, demo days, and webinars.
- Partner with our Grassroots team to define commercial and marketing value. Develop innovative programs to drive trial and conversion. End to end project management for activations.
What We're Looking For :
5 years’ experience in a Marketing or Marketing Support position in a branded consumer goods business and/or leading sporting goods company.
Other qualifications include:
- Experience working with a variety of customers to deliver marketing execution in stores, online and at the place of purchase.
- Trade Marketing, Community engagement/building experience preferred.
- Project and Process Management / Planning and organizing - Ability to identify, priorities, multi-task & allocate resource time effectively. Set clearly defined objectives for each project; manages complexity; plans activities well in advance; monitors performance against deadlines, targets and milestones.
- Ability to travel is a must (up to 50 days a year).
