Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and dependable Patient Transporter to join our Loris Rehab and Nursing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for resident transportation and duties in caring for residents, as well as clerical functions such as scheduling.
Duties
- Transportation of ambulatory and wheelchair bound residents.
- Responsible of all appointments to ensure no overlapping of appointments.
- Ensure all documentation is entered timely into the medical record/electronic charting system as indicated.
- Observe patient conditions during transport and report any concerns or changes to medical staff promptly.
- Follow established safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times.
- Ensure residents are appropriately dressed and groomed for doctors visits and outings.
Experience
- Current CPR certification.
- CNA License
- Driver's License in good standing.
- Previous experience in long-term care preferred but not mandatory.
Pay: From $16.52 per hour
