Job Requirements:

- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret blueprints and technical specifications

- Gage calibration
- Ability to use various inspection tools
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of various mechanical components and assemblies to close tolerance
- Perform assigned inspection on 1st piece, in process, receiving, first article and finished product
- Identify defects in surface, dimensional, visual and non-conformities (material, documentation and workmanship) to blueprints and Wilson’s quality standards. Report non-conformance of materials or unusual conditions to Quality Supervisor
- Create and maintain accurate records, data and logs as necessary
- Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety incidents to supervisor
- Make recommendations for improvements to work processes and procedures. Contribute to 5S programs in work area
- Contribute to positive teamwork environment
- Perform other duties as assigned. Participate in training/learning other positions
- Good Communication and self-disciplined
- Strong visual inspection skills
- Knowledge of Quality Management Standards such as ISO 9001 and AS 9100
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)
- Continuous Improvement Techniques
- Sampling (AQL levels, sampling tables)
- Proficiency with computer-based applications (training will be provided)
- Ability to comprehend and apply advanced mathematics
- Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to resolve practical problems
- Review and Disposition on all certification documentation to meet customer requirements
- Enter Orders, create jobs, contract review, work with vendors
- Disposition and control on non-conforming product
- Strong analytical, organizational and troubleshooting skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
