Duties
- Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of materials.
- Frame decks using dimensional measurements, metal building erection techniques, and carpentry skills such as trim carpentry and frame carpentry.
- Install decking materials, railings, stairs, and supporting structures with hand tools and power tools.
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing for foundational elements of deck projects.
- Conduct heavy lifting and material handling efficiently while maintaining safety standards on-site.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on deck building or related carpentry trades.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and dimensional measurements.
- Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing.
- Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations required during construction tasks.
- Knowledge of construction management principles to coordinate tasks effectively on-site.
- Strong communication skills for interpreting technical plans and collaborating with team members.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
