Wilson Real Estate Management is a fast-growing property management firm overseeing a variety of residential rental homes and multi-family properties. We take pride in keeping our properties in excellent condition and providing quality service to both owners and tenants. We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking General Laborer to support our maintenance and operations team with day-to-day property upkeep and small repair jobs.
Position Summary
The General Laborer supports the maintenance team by performing a variety of physical tasks at occupied and vacant properties. This role involves hands-on work such as trash removal, landscaping, light repairs, cleaning, drive by inspections and basic property prep between tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general property clean-up (interior and exterior)
- Haul debris, trash, and unwanted items from rental units or yards
- Assist with minor repairs (patching holes, tightening fixtures, replacing screens, etc.)
- Clean and prepare units for new tenants (sweeping, vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, etc.)
- Support lawn care and yard work as needed (mowing, raking, trimming)
- Deliver materials and supplies to job sites
- Load/unload tools, appliances, and equipment
- Assist maintenance techs with larger jobs as directed
- Conduct exterior drive by inspections of properties
- Follow safety guidelines and report hazards or maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labor, construction, landscaping, or maintenance preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical work outdoors in varying weather
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Nice to Have
- Experience working on residential properties or with a property management company
- Bilingual a plus (especially English/Spanish)
- Willingness to grow into more specialized maintenance or technician roles
