Role Description The Journeyman Plumber is a full-time, on-site role based in Austin, TX. This role is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings, including fixtures, pipes, water heaters, and drainage systems. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing plumbing issues, performing maintenance and repairs, reading and interpreting blueprints, and ensuring work complies with local codes and safety standards. The Journeyman Plumber will interact directly with customers, provide clear explanations of required work, and maintain a clean and organized job site. The role also involves collaborating with team members, documenting completed work, and using company tools and equipment responsibly.
Qualifications
- Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and code-compliant repairs.
- Experience working with pipes, fittings, and related materials in residential and commercial environments.
- Ability to perform routine and preventive maintenance, as well as general maintenance and repair tasks.
- Effective customer service skills, including clear communication and professional client interaction.
