Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Imaging Services located in Wilson, NC. The Director of Imaging Services will oversee and manage the daily operations of imaging services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services to patients. In this role, you will manage departmental budgets, implement safety protocols, collaborate with clinical teams, and work to improve operational efficiencies. You will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the imaging department.
Qualifications
- Certification and licensure in Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine, such as the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Experience in Imaging Services or Radiology, with proficiency in managing day-to-day operations in these fields
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to oversee multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance in healthcare imaging services
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree is a plus
- Familiarity with safety protocols and emerging technologies in imaging is advantageous
