A Cardiac Cath Lab Technician who excels in this role:
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
- Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluate overall plan daily for effectiveness.
- Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights.

What we’re looking for
Education: Bachelor’s Degree Required
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months of hire
License: Licensed by the state as a radiation operator; Registered by ARRT as a Radiologic Technologist; CI or RCIS - preferred
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab - preferred
Skills and Abilities: Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
