Overview
Wilson Marine is seeking dependable and professional individuals to join our team as local boat transport drivers. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting pontoons and runabout boats, assisting customers in the launching of their boats, and giving a demonstration of the proper use of the boat and its accessories. You will also be responsible for removing and installing mooring covers on the boats that you transport. This is a GREAT opportunity for boating enthusiasts or individuals with towing experience who enjoy a 'hands on' job and outdoor work environment.
We are looking to fill an open position in Commerce Twp
Responsibilities
- Safely transport pontoons and runabout boats to and from customers
- Assist in the launching and retrieving of pontoons and runabouts
- Thoroughly explain and/or demonstrate basic usage of the boat and its accessories to customers
- Install mooring covers on boats when applicable to do so
- Assist with general boat yard duties as required
Experience
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience towing trailers, preferably boat trailers, while safely backing up and maneuvering
- Boating knowledge a plus although not required
- We will train the right candidate in the two items listed above
