Small civil defense trial firm located in Hagerstown Maryland, who practices throughout the Maryland and D.C. , is looking to hire an associate who is an experienced dedicated, detail oriented, trial attorney.
Responsibilities
Associate attorney would be responsible for managing own caseload, collaborating with partners on complex legal issues, interacting with legal staff, and clients.
Qualifications
Seeking a seasoned associate who is looking to be in a courtroom, can handle cases efficiently and effectively, and wants to build their career.
Must have strong research and writing skills, excellent communication skills, and be detail oriented
Must works well with others in team environment and meet deadlines in timely manner.
Must be currently active member of Maryland bar, eligibility to waive into D.C./DC barred considered a plus
Must have at least 5 plus years of litigation experience, with substantial trial work, including verdicts, personal injury experience a plus.
Office in Hagerstown, but practice is throughout entire state of Maryland and D.C., so must be able to travel
