We are seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, technical expertise, and a passion for innovative design to every project. From concept development to construction documentation, you’ll play a key role in shaping spaces that inspire and endure.
This position will be on-site, Monday - Friday in our Minden, NV or Reno, NV offices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts and layouts for residential projects including high-end single-family homes, multi-family units, and renovations
- Create detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure design integrity and feasibility
- Conduct site visits and oversee construction to ensure compliance with design intent and building codes
- Prepare presentations and renderings for client meetings and public hearings
- Manage project timelines and budgets, ensuring milestones are met
- Research materials, building systems, and sustainability strategies
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Licensed Architect in Nevada or California (required)
- 5 years of professional experience in architectural design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design tools
- Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and construction methods
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
