POSITION SUMMARY
Under general supervision the Courtyard Associate is responsible for serving guests from our Courtyard Bar and Grille and providing a friendly and legendary experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties represent the core responsibilities of a Courtyard Bar & Grille Associate (Part-Time). Other related duties may be assigned consistent with the nature of this role.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
- Responsible to verify all guests who are ordering alcoholic beverages are at least 21 years of age through requesting valid identification.
- Responsible to make independent judgment when to notify on duty manager if a guest is intoxicated and should no longer be served alcohol.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service at all times.
- Ensure that all food & drinks are served according to the Lounge’s recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards.
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility and sanitation and cleanliness, including clearing glasses, bottles and trash off tables and floor.
- Set up mobile kitchen including slushie machines, wine stocking, ice, refill water on the grounds, etc.
- Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standard and efficient operations.
- Ensure that all mobile equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs.
- Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment.
- Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card charges, or make change (if applicable).
- Be ready and willing to assist fellow courtyard staff as situations arise.
- Thank the guests for their visit and invite them to return.
- Keep table & chairs configured to standard arrangements upon each group departing.
- Reports to work on time, in full uniform ready to begin work. Uniform to include proper clothing, OSHA approved shoes, name badge, hair tied back, if necessary, etc.

This position involves work in both indoor and outdoor environments where temperatures may fluctuate.
