What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult High School Secretary position at Wilson County School District?
Qualified applicant must have a minimum of high school or general equivalency diploma (GED). Post-secondary education is preferred.
Additional qualifications include:
- At least one (1) year of comparable work experience in school or office setting.
- Customer service and/or data entry experience preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, customer service skills, and proficient organizational and analytical skills are required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Reponsibilities include, but are not limited to, office management, greeting visitors, student orientation, and student records/reports.
This is a full-time, 210-day assignment with insurance and retirement benefits. Pay rate will be determined by comparable work experience and placement on Grade 10 of the Hourly Classified Salary Schedule. Starting rate of pay will be no less than $21.07 per hour.
