Location: New York City
Compensation: $150,000 – $220,000 equity
Work Model: Fully on-site, 5 days per week

We are working with a fast-growing, YC-backed fintech startup building a next-generation compliance platform for financial firms. The company is replacing outdated, fragmented legacy tools with a single modern system powered by automation and AI. They have strong early traction, hundreds of customers, and a small, high-calibre engineering team.
Role Overview
The team is hiring a Front-End Engineer to work across AI-driven document and communications review, agentic workflows, secure cloud infrastructure, and large-scale data processing. You will ship quickly, collaborate closely with senior engineers and founders, and contribute to systems that handle significant scale and real-time processing.
Requirements
- 2-6 years of engineering experience
- Build and maintain full-stack features using TypeScript, Next.js, and React
- Implement responsive, accessible, and elegant UIs using Tailwind and Shadcn
- Experience building scalable systems in AWS
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts or experience using modern AI developer tools
- Strong communication skills and a product-minded approach
- Ability to work full-time on-site in NYC
- Fintech experience is a bonus but not required
