Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Classic Car Outside Salesman to drive our sales efforts and expand our presence within the classic car community. This role involves going to car shows and handing flyers, contacting car clubs and classic car sales facilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through outbound calls, cold calling, and networking within the automotive enthusiast community
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and present tailored solutions for classic car restoration and repair services
- Negotiate deals effectively, ensuring customer satisfaction while achieving sales targets
- Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service, follow-up, and personalized communication
- Conduct in-person visits to dealerships, car clubs, events, and client locations to promote services and upsell additional offerings
- Manage inventory control related to high-end vehicles and parts during the sales process
- Utilize CRM software to track leads, manage customer data, and support sales team efforts
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or automotive industry sales with a focus on high-end or classic cars
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals confidently
- Excellent communication skills, including public speaking and client relationship building
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for reaching diverse clientele
- Knowledge of automotive financing options and retail math for accurate quoting and upselling opportunities
- Experience with dealership operations, inventory management, and CRM systems supported by technical training
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Outbound sales experience including cold calling and lead generation techniques
- Customer service expertise combined with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to achieve sales targets consistently through strategic planning and proactive outreach
