Position Overview:
We are seeking an undeniably ambitious Regional Sales Manager to drive profitable revenue growth in the Building Services Western territory by developing and executing strategic sales plans, strengthening customer and distributor relationships, and providing technical and consultative support aligned with Wilo USA’s Building Services portfolio. This role operates with a high level of autonomy and serves as a key contributor to regional and national sales objectives.
Primary Job Duties:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue, order intake, and profitability targets
- Analyze and monitor market requirements, competitive activity, and customer needs
- Leverage existing distributor and customer relationships to grow Building Services market share
- Collaborate closely with Independent Sales Representatives and internal sales teams to drive growth
- Define, implement, and track sales action plans and regional goals
- Conduct local and regional marketing activities in alignment with corporate marketing standards
- Prepare pricing calculations, technical proposals, and participate in bids, tenders, and RFPs
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a consistent “one voice to the customer” experience
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, applications, service, logistics, and product management to resolve customer requests and issues
- Monitor customer satisfaction and provide feedback to leadership and internal stakeholders
- Support the effective launch of new products within the region
- Coordinate and support large or strategic projects in partnership with the Director of Sales
- Manage assigned co-op marketing budgets and provide required monthly reporting
- Develop targeted customers into Key Accounts while identifying new business opportunities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to Independent Sales Representatives through regular communication and ride-along sales calls
- Contribute to strategic vision and execution for the Building Services segment

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related technical discipline (BSME or BSCE from an ABET-accredited institution preferred)
- Several years of progressive experience in technical or engineered product sales; pump industry experience strongly preferred
- Long-cycle project sales experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of the Building Services or municipal pump market
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and explain technical specifications, engineering drawings, and schematics
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including customer presentations
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively
- Strong customer advocacy, negotiation, and closing skills
- Competitive, results-oriented mindset with strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% (overnight travel by car and air required)
- Must reside within or near the Western territory
