Long Term Substitute- Speech & Language Pathologist

We are seeking a long-term substitute Speech and Language Pathologist to work at the Boutwell Early Childhood Center and the Shawsheen Elementary School servicing students from preschool - grade 3 from October 6, 2025, through January 30, 2026. The Speech and Language Pathologist will be responsible to screen, assess, diagnose, treat, and help prevent speech, language, cognitive-communication, fluency and other related disorders. In addition, the speech and language pathologist will be responsible for the following: •Provide speech and language services according to Individual Education Plans •Complete all necessary Special Education paperwork •Attend IEP Team meetings and participate in regularly scheduled meetings and professional learning •Participate in the Instructional Support Team to discuss data and goals for student success through the RTI process •Evaluate students and complete evaluation reports for initial and 3-year re-evaluations •Consult with teachers and other team members on student disabilities •Conduct Team meetings of speech only students •Provide case load reports and schedules to special education office •Provide Medicaid documentation as requested •Responsible for programming and training with use of augmentative communication systems •Communicate with outside agencies as needed •Other related responsibilities as assigned
