Responsibilities
- Operate heavy forklifts to load and unload shipments with precision.
- Safely handle materials using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and minor repairs on equipment to maintain optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming/outgoing shipments against documentation and ensuring proper storage.
- Follow procedures for heavy lifting tasks, ensuring safety protocols are strictly observed at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating various types of warehouse material handling equipment forklift.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety standards such as OSHA regulations and forklift safety protocols.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations
- Demonstrated skills in manual handling and heavy lifting with a focus on safety.
- Prior experience in Precast
- Valid forklift certification or equivalent licensing is required; additional certifications such as Warehouse Supervisor experience or equipment repair knowledge are a plus.
