What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Spanish Dental Assistant position at Wilmington Pediatric Dentistry?
- Greet and comfort pediatric patients—make their dental visit feel fun and easy.
- Assist the doctor during exams, cleanings, and treatments
- Take digital X-rays (if certified) or be willing to train certify within a set timeline
- Sterilize instruments, prep rooms, and keep things organized and kid-friendly
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to parents and kids
- Help manage patient flow and ensure smooth daily operations
- Support the front desk when needed with check-in, forms, or phone call
- Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Communicate with patients and parents—Spanish fluency is a must for this role
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
