Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Injection Molding Press Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain production of high-quality molded parts. This role is critical to ensuring our machines run efficiently and products meet strict quality standards.
- Starting Shift: 1st shift only (Monday–Friday)
- Future Plans: Expansion to 2nd and 3rd shifts — candidates should be open to future shift assignments as production grows.
- Operate and monitor injection molding machines in accordance with production schedules.
- Load and unload molds, start and stop machines, and adjust process settings to maintain quality.
- Perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Record production data, downtime, and quality checks accurately.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance, including cleaning molds, removing flash, and checking fluid levels.
- Safely handle raw materials, resins, and additives.
- Communicate machine or quality issues to supervisors or maintenance promptly.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred; injection molding experience a plus.
- Ability to read and understand work orders, production drawings, and basic measurement tools.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
