Emergency Medicine – Outpatient NP/PA
Wilmington Health is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our outpatient Emergency Medicine team. This role is ideal for an experienced advanced practice provider who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys providing high-quality episodic and urgent care.
Position Highlights
Provide outpatient-based acute and episodic care in a walk-in/urgent care setting
Independently evaluate and manage a wide range of non-emergent and urgent conditions
Perform minor procedures (laceration repair, splinting, joint injections, wound care, etc.)
Access to on-site imaging, laboratory services, and extensive specialty support
Work within a physician-led, multi-specialty group of 300 providers
Flexible, predictable part-time schedule
Supportive clinical staff and strong operational infrastructure
Qualifications
Current NP or PA license with eligibility to practice in North Carolina
Experience in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, or a similar high-acuity outpatient setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment and procedural skills
Commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment
