Wilmington Endocrinology is seeking a medical assistant to join our clinical team. This is an in-office setting. Training is provided. This position would be ideal for recent graduate who is seeking exposure in a clinical setting and may be interested in pursuing PA school (or other extended medical field degrees) in the future.
Responsibilities include: Patient check-in, patient education, treatment notification, procedural prep, prior authorizations (for prescription and outpatient setting orders), and proper EHR documentation. Administrative work may also tie-in with this position. Strong computer and technology skills are required. This role requires close collaboration with physicians and staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
