Job Summary:

The Educator I position is an exciting entry-level role within our retail operation, designed for individuals passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and creating an outstanding shopping experience. As an Educator I, your main role will be to support the store leads during your shift. To do so, you will:

• Engage with customers to provide assistance on product selection, promotions, and brand values.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment and support inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to foster a positive and productive workplace.
• Participate in training to enhance your product knowledge and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Education (80%)

• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with product selection and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Engage customers through education on products, promotions, and brand values.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of products and services offered to enhance customer interactions.

Store Operations Support (15%)

• Assist in keeping the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Support inventory management tasks like restocking shelves and organizing products.
• Follow daily checklists to ensure all operational tasks are completed efficiently.
• Help keep the front and back of the store organized as per established standards.
• Assist with side work and other assigned tasks.

Team Collaboration & Development (5%)

• Work with team members to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.
• Participate in training to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Foster a positive work environment by collaborating effectively with staff and management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Ability to work flexible hours. This includes weekends.
• 2 years previous retail or customer service experience.
• Passion for customer service, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and retain product knowledge to educate and assist customers effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean, professional workspace.
• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.
• Enthusiasm for wellness, education, and the responsible use of cannabis products.

Working Conditions:

• Retail store environment with frequent standing, walking, and engaging with customers.
• Regular use of computers, point-of-sale systems, and other retail equipment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds for restocking and inventory tasks.
• Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching to organize products and maintain store appearance.
