What are the responsibilities and job description for the Counselor (Elementary) position at Wilmington City School District?
We are seeking a School Counselor for our Preschool-2nd grade Elementary building. Qualified candidates will have School Counselor license. Our District serves over 2100 students in Preschool through 12th grade and employs more than 300 staff members (185 certified). We offer competitive salaries and benefits. Located off of I-71, we are within easy reach of Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus.
The District provides a rich professional development program with ongoing support for our staff. Teachers are trained in Trauma Informed Care, Restorative Practices, and Positive Behavioral Intervention Supports (PBIS). Teachers have additional supports through Instructional, Math, Behavior, and Literacy Coaches.
