We handle workers' compensation and general liability matters for insurance carriers, employers' businesses, and government entities. Started in 2002, the WJCB team is over 200 people strong and growing. Our Firm’s purpose is to provide an enjoyable, supportive home where all team members can flourish and succeed. We are diligent and personable team players.
We are currently expanding and looking for an Insurance Defense Attorney in our Greenville, SC office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Consulting with clients
- Attending hearings
- Taking Depositions
- Preparing and responding to motions
- Preparing and responding to discovery
- Adhering to the Firm's Code of Ethics, company policies, and operating principles
Ideal Qualifications:
- 1 years of experience in the Workers' Compensation field.
- SC License in good standing.
- Detail-oriented, diligent, and results-driven team player.
- Experience in drafting briefs and other legal documents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong research, organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent client services skills.
- Experience taking depositions.
- Experience in discovery.
