Veterinary Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary clinic. This role requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
• Handle client inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information regarding services offered.
• Process patient records and maintain accurate medical files
• Collect payments and manage medical collections as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
• Utilize veterinary terminology effectively when communicating with clients and staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is required.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology is essential.
• Skills in animal handling, including dog handling techniques, are highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for pet care and a commitment to providing high-quality service to both animals and their owners.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
