Shift Leader - Job Description
Title: Shift Leader
Status: Part-Time
Reports To: Store Manager
Description
As the Shift Leader, you will oversee teams of 3-10 people to create a fun environment for our customers, ensure our customers are helped in a timely fashion, and ensure our store is properly stocked and merchandised.
Job Duties
- Oversee teams of 3-10 people per shift, including directing the team to assist customers and ensure the store is properly merchandised
- Foster a positive, productive environment with your team and customers
- Open/Close the store, including managing safe and register funds and overseeing open/closing procedures
- Ensure all opening or closing checklist items have been completed during your shift. Inspect what’s done for accuracy and completion. Manage your shift efficiently to achieve this goal every shift.
- Perform sales transactions with our customers, focusing on the customer-experience and leaving a good impression
- Work with management to hit store performance metrics every month.
- Foster a team culture that embraces our Core Values
- Embrace change, take risks, and try new ideas to help our store grow and evolve
- Additional duties as needed to ensure the store runs smoothly
Requirements
- Prior leadership experience preferred
- Strong organizational, communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time and safely lift 50lbs without assistance
- Must be willing to work a minimum of 20 hours/week plus events.
- Must be available and participate in Shift Leader meetings.
Salary : $15 - $17
