Position Summary
WillowWood is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the reliability, safety, and performance of our production and facility equipment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical (up to 480V), pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic control systems
- Maintain critical facility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, and backup power equipment
- Support equipment upgrades, capital projects, and facility improvements
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and equipment manuals
- Identify root causes of equipment issues and recommend process improvements
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and support continuous improvement efforts
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout practices, and comply with OSHA and WillowWood standards
- Participate in on-call rotations and work overtime or weekends as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Comfortable working on ladders, manlifts, and elevated work areas
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree or technical certification in maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field
- Experience with HVAC systems, PLCs, compressed air systems, welding/fabrication, or machining equipment
- Familiarity with CMMS software and backup power systems
- Forklift experience
