Position Overview
We are seeking a Temporary Maintenance Technician to support our Maintenance team while one of our employees is on a leave of absence. This role provides hands-on maintenance support for manufacturing equipment and facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general facility and equipment maintenance as assigned
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing production equipment
- Complete scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks
- Assist with preventive maintenance activities
- Perform basic electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and carpentry work
- Support grounds maintenance and facility upkeep as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical (single and three-phase), hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with HVAC, welding, PLCs, or construction equipment is a plus
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds (occasionally more)
- Exposure to manufacturing environments, moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
- Outdoor work may be required
