Skills
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with strong leadership capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued for diverse customer engagement.
- Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, merchandising, inventory control, and sales management strategies.
- Proficient in POS systems, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping practices, and retail math calculations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively across various responsibilities such as staffing, inventory management, and marketing initiatives.
- Experience in employee orientation, training & development programs, recruitment processes including interviewing candidates for assistant manager or supervisory roles.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff members’ performance while fostering teamwork through coaching and leadership.
- Adept at time management with the capacity to oversee shift management activities efficiently.
- Being able to be working outdoor, here and there would be a must. 20% of the work is outdoor.
