Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough resident assessments.
- Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
- Document all medical procedures, patient responses, and vital signs using electronic health record (EHR) in Point Click Care
- Monitor residents
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for diverse populations
- Maintain competency in basic life support (BLS) and stay current with evolving practices related to infection prevention
- Support patient education initiatives by explaining procedures and medication instructions clearly to promote understanding and compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid RN or LPN license with current certification in good standing.
- Familiarity with long term care
- Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation and record keeping. Point Click Care experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of all medical records and patient information.
