We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our compassionate team. In this role, you will be essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Handle laundry services efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and resident clothing.
- Conduct window cleaning and pressure washing to keep exterior and interior glass surfaces spotless.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely while adhering to sanitation standards and infection control protocols.
- Assist with custodial responsibilities such as floor care maintenance, waste disposal, and ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Properly handle heavy lifting tasks and manual handling of cleaning supplies or equipment to maintain safety.
- Follow all safety procedures by using personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning activities to prevent contamination or injury.
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred; familiarity with commercial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques including window cleaning, floor care, sanitation, and infection control measures.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, pressure washers, and other janitorial tools effectively.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward residents and staff.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling tasks, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
- Experience with chemical handling and adherence to safety guidelines regarding PPE use.
- Reliable work ethic with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards consistently.
